Staff were absolutely fantastic and the vegan options delicious! Stopped here by chance after getting a flat tyre and pulling up outside. The lovely staff were so kind allowing me to charge my phone so I can contact my breakdown cover, and the chef offered to help change the car tyre. Inside was so lovely and homely. Highly recommend popping in for a meal if you’re in the area!
We had a lovely meal very generous portions place packed out lovely staff there is also a out side seating area which I felt could be tidied up but otherwise all good.
Went for Sunday dinner for mothers day, got to say the best dinner I've had out in ages, tasty plenty food and the best gravy. Highly recommended will be back soon

What an outstanding Sunday lunch. Totally loved it. So tasty and nice. Wonderful staff. Really had a great meal. Would come back here without question. I love this wonderful place and find that the food here is second to none. Well priced and wonderful staff, I come here as often as I can. Great in the winter and summer (and autumn and spring )
Went for Sunday Lunch with friends who recommend the Pant Cad Ifor. Its located just before The Brecon Mountain Railway to give you an idea. It was the best Sunday Roast I have had in ages and I go out on a Sunday regularly. I had Lamb which was delicious my friends all had Beef. It was served with Homemade Yorkshire Pudding,Roast Potatoes and Stuffing and an array of vegetables... Potatoes,Carrots, Swede, Cabbage,Peas and even a delicious Cauliflower Cheese all absolutely delicious. The pub was full and lots of takeaways being collected. When we were paying its "CASH ONLY" they were still getting orders on the phone after 2pm !! Shame it's not a little closer to me but will definitely visit weekdays when I am up Merthyr Retail Park. I had been to the pub some years ago and it's always seemed to have a good reputation. Highly recommended but suggest you book early.
